These terms are the agreement between you and Coffee Chat when you use the app. They're written to be read, not skimmed past — the short version: use the app in good faith, your data stays yours, and this is an early-stage product provided as-is.
By creating an account or using Coffee Chat, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Coffee Chat is a personal networking tracker: you log the people you meet, your conversations, and follow-up reminders. It's an early-stage product — features will change, improve, and occasionally break as we build.
The contacts, notes, and reminders you create are yours. You give us permission to store and process them solely to provide the service to you — see the Privacy Policy for exactly how that data is handled. If you want your account and data deleted, email us and we'll do it promptly.
We aim to keep Coffee Chat running smoothly, but as an early-stage product it's provided without uptime guarantees. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features (or the service) as it evolves; if we ever discontinue the service entirely, we'll make reasonable efforts to give you a chance to export your data first.
You can stop using Coffee Chat anytime, and can request deletion of your account and data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
Coffee Chat is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coffee Chat and its creators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently: zero — the service is free).
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these terms as the product grows. If a change is significant, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Coffee Chat after a change means you accept the updated terms.
